Umbrella Company Alternative
In the UK, a contractor umbrella company acts as an employer to independent contractors who work under temporary contracts. This is usually through a specialist employment agency who will only issue contracts to a limited company.
The Managed Service Company (MSC) legislation 2007 states that an independent contractor must either establish their own limited company, use a contractor umbrella company or use a service such as the one offered by AML, to be compliant.
By contracting through AM Limited, you will become an employee of AML under a contract of employment. The business model that we operate seeks to maximise your earnings allowing you to potentially take home over 80% of your gross contract value.
All employees contracting through AML are fully covered for professional indemnity, public liability and employer's liability insurance. Our business model is IR35 and s660 compliant, it is endorsed by leading Tax Counsel and has been fully disclosed and registered with the HMRC (with a Scheme Registration Number) and is registered for PAYE.
